Pedestrian Killed After Being Drug By Vehicle

April 19, 2011 - According to reports by pedestrian accident attorneys at Ehline law Firm PC, a pedestrian was killed after being drug by a vehicle. According to authorities a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Walnut Park, at approximately 1:00 a.m. on Monday.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Pacific Boulevard and California Street, when the vehicle identified as an SUV was traveling in the eastbound lanes. The vehicle was an SUV driven by a 23 year old that struck the pedestrian after running a stop sign drug the pedestrian for a short distance before hitting a tree and then a wall. The SUV flipped over and then came to rest on its roof in a parking lot.

The pedestrian that was killed has only been identified by authorities as being in his thirties. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 23 year old driver of the SUV was arrested on suspicion of DUI and manslaughter. The accident is still under investigation, according to police.

Two Vehicle Head On Crash Injures Three People

April 11, 2011 - According to reports a two vehicle crash injured three people in Stanton. According to Orange County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Mike Peters the two vehicle head on collision occurred at 11530 Western Avenue in Stanton at approximately 10:30 a.m.

The crash involved a Chevy Tahoe and a Toyota Camry, with three people in the Tahoe including a child, the driver was the only person in the Camry.
Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Greg McKeown stated that 13 firefighters and three ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
