November 15, 2011 - According to reports a pickup rollover on the I-5 Freeway, closed lanes Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol the pickup rollover accident occurred at approximately 9:05 a.m. on the I-5 Freeway in the vicinity south of Lake Forest Drive.
The rollover accident that closed lanes of the I-5 Freeway involved a Toyota Tacoma that was in the No. 3 lane of the I-5, when the tire blew out causing the vehicle to veer left and then swerve right. The truck overturned in the No.5 lane, according to the California Highway Patrol Officer at the scene.
According to the California Highway Patrol the Toyota Tacoma blocked two lanes for an hour, with the lanes being cleared at approximately 10:10 a.m. There driver an passenger reportedly were not injured in the pickup rollover crash, CHP stated.
