December 13, 2010-According to reports two Buena Park Police officers were injured in a rear end crash.
According to California Highway Patrol Police and Buena Park Police Sgt. Brad Geyer, the two Buena Park Police officers were involved in a rear end crash that occurred at approximately 3:09 a.m. Sunday.
The accident occurred when the police officers and an inmate they were transporting to the Chino State Prison, according to Sgt. Geyer. They were traveling eastbound on the 91 Freeway in Anaheim in the vicinity of the 241 Freeway when they were rear-ended by a vehicle.
The two officers sustained minor injuries and the California Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash. No further details have been made available.
