August 22, 2009 (by Horatio Algren) According to reports country singer LeAnn Rimes was questioned by the Los Angeles police after allegedly being involved in a hit and run accident.
The two time Grammy winner is suspected of driving a 2009 Audi Q5 and striking the back end of a 2006 BMW X5 that was at a stop in a left turning lane in the vicinity of the 11000 block of Montana Avenue according to reports.
Rimes was questioned at her home by the West Traffic Division after the accident that occurred at approximately 7:45 p.m. Thursday. It is unclear whether police have enough evidence for pursue the case in which there were no injuries and only minor damage to the vehicles to forward their findings to the Los Angeles City Attorneys Office.
